Avril Lavigne is ready to rock down the aisle again. After a six-month courtship that was kept so quiet we had no idea they were even dating, Lavigne is engaged to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, reports People.
The Canadian couple first got together in February when they were collaborating on a song for Lavigne’s next album. ”A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together,” a source tells the mag. Kroeger popped the question on August 8.
The 27-year-old pop star clearly has a type — she was previously married to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2009.
