American Music Awards 2013: Lady Gaga Arrives On A Mechanical Horse

Lady Gaga arrived at the American Music Awards on the back of a gigantic white mechanical horse (ie. two dudes wearing an elaborate costume). While her entrance was quintessential Gaga, she showed much more subtly when choosing her outfit.
Mother Monster looked truly stunning in her simple lilac dress. In fact, this could be her best red carpet look. The long blond hair and minimal make-up suits her and she was beaming despite ARTPOP‘s opening week sales, so more power to her.

American Music Awards 2013: Miley Cyrus Suits Up For The Red Carpet

Miley Cyrus bucked the trend towards formal gowns on the American Music Awards red carpet tonight (November 25) — rocking a white suit. Given her status as the new Queen of shock, it’s only fitting that the Bangerz diva went topless under her jacket.
Instead of looking trashy, this ensemble is pure sophistication. Miley looked stunning — from her trademark cropped hair to the gold pins holding her suit together and simple black pumps. (Thankfully, she dyed her eyebrows back to their natural color). The 21-year-old can add flawless fashionista to her growing CV.

American Music Awards 2013: Taylor Swift Is Golden On The Red Carpet

Taylor Swift is usually a sure bet for the best dressed list at award ceremonies. Which makes her ensemble at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles tonight (November 25) all the more curious. Instead of opting for chic sophistication like her fellow A-Listers, Tay went for a brassy look.
Rocking a short gold dress and perhaps unintentionally fluffy hairstyle, Taylor looked more like a Las Vegas waitress than an all-conquering country-pop superstar. It’s good to switch things up — she often dresses too old for her age — but this is not the look. She also appears completely miserable, which doesn’t help her cause.

American Music Awards 2013: Christina Aguilera Is White Hot On The Red Carpet

Christina Aguilera looked better than ever on the red carpet at American Music Awards tonight (November 25). The newly slim diva wanted to show off her bangin’ body — while keeping it classy — and found the perfect dress to do it.
The Lotus queen looked like a ’50s screen siren in a glamorous white dress, split at the sides to show a bit of skin. She teamed that with her trademark more-is-more approach to make-up and fake tan. The result is quintessentially Xtina and hence legendary and flawless.
