Rihanna Added To 2012 MTV Video Music Awards Performers

Now that we know more about Rihanna than we’d ever thought (or even hoped), it’s time to get back to the what we love most about the too-sexy-for-Nivea singer: the jams. And where better to start with a performance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards?
Our favorite Barbados tour guide retweeted Friday (Aug. 24): “@DreezyOnHer: OMG!! RIHANNA’S GONNA BE PERFORMING AT THE VMAs!!!!!” PHUCK YES I WILLLL!!! JUST FOR MY NAVY!!!!” For Rihanna fans, this should be the icing on the cake, as Ri is already tied with Drake for the most nominations.
Rihanna joins the 2012 VMAs growing list of already-confirmed performers, which includes Taylor Swift, One Direction, Green Day, Alicia Keys and Pink.
Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and Team USA Olympian gymnasts the Fierce Five (McKayla Maroney, Jordyn Wieber, Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross and Aly Raisman) will all present awards when the show airs live on Thursday, September 6 at 8 p.m. EST.

Rihanna And Joan Rivers Feud Over Chris Brown On Twitter

Rihanna has never been shy about taking her detractors to task on Twitter, and “bashful” isn’t a word we’d associate with Joan Rivers, either. So when these two get their claws out on Twitter, who’s going to walk away the least scratched

 
After catching Ri Ri’s tearful interview with Oprah Winfrey, Rivers took to Twitter to express her distaste for the “Where Have You Been” singer’s lingering affection for the man who gave her a savage beating back in 2009. “Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her,” Rivers joked, inciting a feisty response from the oft-topless pop star: “wow you really do get slow when you’re old huh.” (Which has since been deleted, of course.)
It was followed by: “Slap on some diapers.”
